PRODUCT OVERVIEW
LFIC-20 High-Speed Cotton Inserter Machine
Automated Cotton Insertion for Pharmaceutical Bottle Packaging
The LFIC-20 is a high-speed cotton inserter machine designed to automatically feed, cut, and insert cotton into bottles containing tablets, capsules, pills, and other dry solid-dose products. With a maximum production speed of up to 200 bottles/min, it supports continuous cotton insertion for pharmaceutical, healthcare, and other bottle packaging applications.
A servo motor and Pharmapack LFIC control system coordinate cotton feeding and insertion for stable, controlled operation. The compact machine design also helps simplify installation and daily operation.
As an inserter machine for automated packaging lines, the LFIC-20 can be integrated with tablet or capsule counters, cappers, sealers, labelers, and cartoners to form a complete bottle packaging system. For manufacturers comparing pharma machinery suppliers, Pharmapack provides both standalone equipment and integrated packaging line solutions.
WORKING PROCESS

How the LFIC-20 Cotton Inserting Machine Works
The LFIC-20 cotton inserting machine completes cotton feeding, cutting, transfer, detection, and bottle insertion in a continuous automated cycle. The process can be understood in five main steps:
1. Cotton Feeding
Cotton material (A) is pulled forward by the feeding roller (B). The controlled feeding mechanism continuously delivers cotton toward the cutting and insertion section.
2. Cotton Cutting & Positioning
The cotton is cut to the required length and transferred to the working position (C) under the pressure of roller (B2). This prepares an individual cotton section for the next insertion cycle.
3. First Insertion
At the working position, cylinder (D) pushes the prepared cotton (A) upward into Pipe 1 from the bottom.
4. Cotton Transfer
The transfer mechanism rotates the cotton from Pipe 1 to Pipe 2. Once the machine detects the cotton, the mechanism continues to the Pipe 3 position, aligning the cotton with the bottle insertion station.
5. Cotton Insertion into the Bottle
At Pipe 3, another cylinder pushes the cotton into the positioned bottle. The machine then resets for the next cycle, allowing continuous automatic operation.
This coordinated process enables the LFIC-20 cotton inserter to automatically prepare and insert cotton while reducing manual handling and supporting continuous pharmaceutical bottle packaging.
